Greek vs Roman Mythology

People always seemed to be confused with Greek vs Roman mythology. They both have pretty much the same myths, as well gods and goddess. The only general difference is their names. I never found them hard to remember, but a lot of people have problems with them, even us nerds. (; So as a helping hand, I’ll name the Olympians with their Greek and Roman names. Just for the fun of it, I’ll throw in two “minor” gods that I think are important down at the bottom.
Zeus = Jupiter/Jove
Hera = Juno
Athena = Minerva
Hermes = Mercury
Ares = Mars
Aphrodite = Venus
Artemis = Diana
Dionysus = Bacchus
Hephaestus = Vulcan
Demeter = Ceres
Poseidon = Neptune
Apollo = Apollo
Hades = Pluto, Dis
Hestia = Vesta
Thanatos = Mors
Hypnos = Somnus
